They've always been the best multi-species magazine around, not to mention on the leading edge of fishing revolution. Now they're trying to "come of age" and add blogging to their repertoire. It looks like it started back in early summer, but a core group of writers have been added to the blog ranks. Some started off with a bang but have slipped a bit recently, others seem to just be gearing up for the party. As you'd expect, topics cover the gamut of fishing and fish species, so there is something for everyone. My personal favorite is Ned Kehde's blog. He's been adding some of the older unpublished material he's done on pro anglers to his site, kind of like a 'Day on the Water' type report. I've mentioned his stories a few times before on this blog - great stuff.
It will be interesting to see whether these things "stick" or not. I can tell you from personal experience, it takes a lot of work and commitment to keep the material flowing regularly for any length of time. Not nearly as easy as it looks. Either way, check out the links and see if you don't find an entry or two of interest.
