Big Indiana Bass

I've been getting a lot of searches by people trying to figure out what is up at Eagle Creek Res. If you haven't heard (or noticed), the lake was drawn down 7' and has been held there the past few weeks (maybe longer, I can't remember exactly). I spoke with the Park Office and the word is that the drawdown was required for repair work being done on the dam. That work was supposed to have wrapped up this past weekend, and the gates are supposed to be closed sometime this week for the lake to refill. I drove by yesterday afternoon and they were still open though. They anticipated a full reservoir, or nearly so, by the 1st of April. If I hear anything different I'll be sure to pass it along.
