Day 2 of the BASSTrakk system looked almost like a duplicate of day 1. Number of over guesses, under guesses, and within margins were almost identical. On average, the tendency was still to underguess the weight, this time by a 2.7# difference, quite a bit better than yesterday's 4 pound difference. At one point late in the day, the BASS live blog had a lengthy post on why the differences, how it's only to get an idea and that it doesn't really matter. They laid some of the blame on the anglers, and some of the blame on the observers. I still stand by my opinion/suggestion from yesterday that it does matter, and would be an important part of the solution to transforming the sport into something "observable". You start doing that, and a lot more people will start paying attention.
OK, rant over. Here's the data from Day 2.
