This weekend there is a benefit tournament at Sullivan Lake for Bass Unlimited.  This is a great organization that is fighting to give us a greater voice in all things Bass Fishing. If you are interested in fishing it please view the attached flier for the details.

With the constant monsoon we have had the last couple of weeks, Lake Monroe has swollen to more than 10 feet above normal pool and made for a challenging set of circumstances for our anglers.  That being said, these guys always seem to figure out how to catch them!

DJ Capps and Matt McClanahan took home the REELSVILLE SPECIALTY COATINGS FIRST PLACE PLAQUES and a check for $1080 dollars! Their limit of bass weighed in at 16.55 pounds.

Dale Brand and Eddie Patrick came in Second with 15.14 pounds which included the days Big Bass at 6.40 pounds. What a TOAD!!!

Ed Bauer and Bob Garner took home the OUTDOORSMAN SPORTSHOP SECOND BIGBASS AWARD with a 5.82  pound stud as well as some BASS BOAT SAVER!!!.

Great Job Guys!!!

Just received the results from the Indiana Bass Federation events held this past weekend down on Rocky Point. I've tried to clean up the spreadsheets and sort by weight. If everything is correct, you'll see it was pretty much a struggle down there all weekend. I've attached the files below for each day along with the overall standings through 4 events.

Dead Sea?!?!  Not for these guys!  Lake Monroe is on fire, but don't tell anyone... It's a secret!!!

14 Teams fished for $1000 GUARANTEED 1st Place. 9 Limits. 4 bags over 16 pounds. 11 bags over 9 pounds. 12 teams weighed fish.

Jim Vanzo and Brad Eaglan won the event and took home the REELSVILLE SPECIALTY COATINGS FIRST PLACE PLAQUES and a check for $1005 dollars with their bag that tipped the scales at 18.99 pounds! Their bag included the OUTDOORSMAN SPORTSHOP SECOND BIGBASS AWARD for their 6.01 pound Brute!   Shane Peters and Denny Johnson (sub) where right behind them with 5 bass that went 18.87 pounds and took home $390 dollars for second.  Dan Pennington and Dan Fields took home some Bass Boat Saver for their third place finish.  Big Bass of the day was hauled in by Ed Bauer and Bob Garner who put a 6.12 pound donkey on the scale!
