9/19/2015 - ANGLERS CHOICE - LAKE MONROE

The last tournament of the official summer season took place last Saturday at Lake Monroe.

Bob Garner and Dan Pardue, who filled in for Ed Bauer, took home the REELSVILLE SPECIALTY COATINGS FIRST PLACE PLAQUES and a check for $1080 dollars! Their limit of bass weighed in at 16.62 pounds and also contained the OUTDOORSMAN SPORTSHOP SECOND BIGBASS AWARD.

George Brown and Brannon Pickett were close to making it back to back wins but came up a little short with 15.14 pounds. They took home some BASS BOAT SAVER for their efforts.

Rex Remington pulled the Tournaments Big Bass out of his hat to take home $110 for his 5.61 pound hog! Great Job Guys!!!

**Our last event will be SATURDAY, October 3rd. As always, this is a OPEN TOURNAMENT meaning you do not need a membership to fish.

This event is not on the flier as it is the makeup tournament from our March event that was cancelled due to severe cold.

Bass Unlimited Annual Banquet

The 1st annual Bass Unlimited Foundation banquet will be held on October 24, 2015 at the Idle Creek Banquet Center, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. This event will be a historic event for our foundation for the obvious reasons. Banquet social hour will begin at 5:30pm and continue to 6:30pm, opening ceremonies from 6:30pm to 7:00pm, Dinner from 7:00pm to 8:00pm with raffles, games and both live/silent auctions starting at 8:00pm. Please share the attached flyer with all your friends and family. We would like to have a great turn out by selling all the available tickets. Be advised don’t wait to purchase your tickets they are only available until October 16th. Early indications, is this event will sell out. We can only sell a limited amount of tickets and no tickets will be sold at the door.

Tickets to the banquet are available from either Carol Newlin at 812-230-2782 or Jeannie Drake 812-201-4537 and cost $65.00 for a single ticket, $100.00 per couple and $400.00 for a reserved round table with preferred seating; these tables will seat 8 people. Each ticket includes admission to the event, the catered meal, (choice of beef inside round or chicken parmesan, red potatoes, green beans, California blend mixed vegetables, dinner roll, and assorted pies for desert. Ice tea, water, coffee and 2 kegs of beer for drinks). However, we will have a cash bar for other drinks as well.
