It was a veritable "who's who" out at Geist today, and as expected, some heavy sacks hit the scales again (5 over 20 pounds), and not necessarily from the guys you might expect to rule come weigh-in time, proving once again that nothing is guaranteed when it comes to bass fishing. Director Steve Contos sent me the pic of final weigh-in board to share. Top half is boats 1-26, and the bottom half iboats 27-57, along with payouts. You can click on the pictures to make them a little larger for easier reading.
I also received this pic from Nate Redman who was out at Geist today, though not in the Speedway tournament. Nate caught this giant on a double willow white/chartreuse Red Dirt spinner bait. She tipped the scales at 7lb 10oz when weighed.
